Inspiredby Native Indian culture, this cushion coveris exclusive to Living Multicultural as it is our own design. . Their religion follows rituals and a belief in a spiritual connection with nature, represented by various symbols such as the sun. The sun is revered by them as the giver of light and heat, it promotes harvest and stands for growth.
Solstice means "sun" and "to stop" in Latin. During the winter solstice, the sun seems to stay in the sky as it reaches its southernmost point. The expanded rays of the sun on the pillowcase represent the cardinal points, north, south, east and west. By celebrating and honoring the Solstice, we are reminded how special each day and season is.
