Today we are living in a world where we have forgotten about the rich and diverse cultures from around the world and have settled to live with a rather common modern lifestyle, especially when it comes to home decor. We believe that home decoration is more than filling your space with things; it should be able to depict a story. We thought to ourselves how can this be done? And that's where the idea of Living Multicultural was born.
Living Multicultural is about embracing and cherishing different cultures from around the world through the art of home decor. It feels simply amazing to discover and learn about the rich artwork and traditional designs of different cultures and to be able to share this beauty with the rest of the world. Through this, we are hoping that people also get the chance of seeing and understanding how beautiful other cultures can be and appreciate their traditional artwork.
Another important aspect for us is sustainability. As much we care about cultures and their artwork, we also deeply care about our planet. That's why we have chosen the path to a more sustainable future by only providing items that are environment friendly and animal cruelty free - in other words, vegan. This means that we use fabrics that are made from natural material, and try to also incorporate recycled material where possible.
We know that as a business, it is nearly impossible to leave no carbon footprint behind but we want to do our best to reduce and minimize this as much as possible. We have already taken the first crucial steps by replacing single-use plastics packaging and implementing biodegradable packaging. As we are all aware that trees are being cut down and forests are being wiped out at a rate faster than ever before, we have also pledged to donate towards planting a tree for every order we receive. It's a continuous process and we know that we are far from being perfect but as we grow, our goal is to do more and to give more to make this world a better place.
